Assumptions About People
At Comfort Care we approach each and every relationship according to the following Assumptions About People.
These Assumptions, combined with our Shared Values, are the foundation of a trusting, collaborative relationship.
Unique
There are no two people who have the same personality, talents, skills, abilities, strengths and weaknesses. Everyone deserves 'special treatment. Everyone is a 'VIP.'
Intelligent
People are more than a 'pair of hands' or a 'warm body.' They have the ability to be creative and knowledgeable.
Trustworthy
People want to do the right thing. Everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt.
Positive Contribution
People want to use their gifts and abilities to make a positive contribution. They do not want to 'work for a paycheck'.
Capable of Making Important Decisions
People are capable of seeking out advice and information to make important decisions that have a real impact on the company and community.
Responsible, Accountable Adults
People want responsibility and accountability. They want feedback, and they want to know that what they do is important and has a significant impact, either positive or negative.
Fallible
People make mistakes, sometimes on purpose. There are NO exceptions; we are all fallible, from the ‘new hire’ to the CEO. When we make mistakes we need to hold ourselves accountable, ask for forgiveness, learn, and improve.
